For ELL field trip this
year we went to Chattanooga, which is only about one and a half hour
away from Bell Buckle. Similar to last year, we got to miss one whole day
of classes to go on a fun trip and learn about that place. However, different
from last year, this time I had much more fun! I mean, last year was great
and all, but nothing can top that aquarium. This is how it all started. We
woke up earlier than usual because we have to leave earlier due to the
time difference. Chattanooga is one hour ahead of Bell Buckle so we had to
leave early. We had some breakfast and rush to the bus. Like I said,
it was an hour and a half drive, which I slept trough completely. We got
there with full energy and excitement; Chattanooga is a beautiful city
with amazing architecture. When Mr. and Mrs. B got the tickets we were good to
go. In the first building the first thing we saw was penguins, they were so
cute! They would follow Hannah's hand around thinking she has food, which
was kind of funny. There was some amazing jellyfish too. My favorite out
of all was the jellyfish they were beautiful! They light up, and just swim
around like no one was there. The pictures of
them turned out the best. Moving to the next building, we saw the
Tennessee river and also Baylor (BOOOO). The second building contain
a huge range of animals, we touched some snakes and fishes, which was a
big step for me, cause I HATE SNAKES!!!! After the aquarium we ate
and moved on the next sight: Duck Boat. Duck Boats can drive on land and
water, which was pretty cool. The man who toured us was very funny and
nice. He even let us drive! He told us a lot about the history of Chattanooga
(Rock Point), about the name, they rich families, and the Coca cola. After
that, our last stop was Ben&Jerry's which was amazing! The whole trip
was amazing! I had a great time, but sad that I would be they’re for the
next one.

Prom Weekend
Last weekend was prom weekend. On Saturday morning, while
many of the girls in my dorm left at 9 in the morning to get their hair a
makeup done, I stayed asleep. I went on the IHOP trip at 10:30 with many people
that I don't usually hang out with. I had a lot of fun with them and got to
know them a lot better. We ordered a full table of food and were very full.
Around 4, Tami, Cameron, Carter, and I left to get some Thai food before prom,
which tasted like real Thai food. We arrived at prom around 7. It was at a
barn, but was a very nice barn. After the recognition of the seniors, the DJ
started to play loud remixes of different songs. Tami and I went dancing on the
dance floor for like 2 hours. We had a lot of fun that night and took a lot of
picture from the photo booth. Prom started to get kind of boring, so we left at
9, and went to GO USA with Sara and Legend. We raced go-carts and play games.
That was prom night. Sunday, there was a Walmart trip where I got new bed sheet,
which made me very happy! It was a fun weekend!

Magical Bunny with Magical Powers
Yesterday, I had the most magical thing happened to me. This is how it started, I heard the door bell
rang, so I rushed to the door. I peeked in the cat eye but saw no one, so I thought it must have been
the neighbor's kids with their awful jokes. A minute later, it rang again. I still see no one from the cat
eye. I opened the door anyway to see what was going on. No one was in my sight, but a soft voice
spoked, "Miss, may I come in?" The voice came below me, so I looked down. The strangest sight! It
was a bunny in a navy suit and tall hat. The bunny spoke again, "Sorry, that was very rude of me. My
name is Mr. Bunny-Rabit, and I have magical powers!"Shocked by the sight, I froze for a second
than let him in. He hop and hop to the sofa. He sat down and stared at me, like if it was telling me to
sit with him. Uncontrollably, I sat next to him and asked, "What is your magic ability?" He smirked
and said,"Food! The greatest thing that can be! I can make any food you want appear in front of you
right now!"
"Right now?"
"Indeed, right now!" The bunny laughed. I thought to myself, and I thought of Curry and said, "Can
you make a big bowl of Curry appear right now?"
"Indeed I can!" The bunny held up his wand and said, "Biboli, boboli, boo!" A sink sized bowl
appeared in front of me. I remember I just kept eating and eating while the rabbit was eating with
me. However, he's gone today. I hope yesterday wasn't a dream because I feel pretty stuffed!

Opinions vs. Ideas
I believe humans like
opinions more. Positive opinions gives human the feeling of confident, that
what ever had done or had decided was positive, the right thing to do. However,
negative opinions do the opposite. It drag on ones feet, it makes them
feel vulnerable. One will do his/her thing with stress or just give up. Opinions
have a strong impact on human. Humans feel more comfortable with a positive
opinion behind their back. Most humans are naturally lazy. With a positive
opinion to help them, they will feel much better.
All humans have original ideas, everyone is unique, and
so their ideas will be unique. Sometimes many people have great ideas, but when
they go and get consult, others discourage the, Most of the time, others is the
reason why many great ideas are not accomplish. Not only people, other things
will get in the way too. For example, time, money, and craziness. However, if
people pull through that stage of negativity, great ideas will become great
reality.

American Horror Story
American Horror Story is a horror television series described as an "anthology" series, which means every season is different. Each season has different characters, settings, and plots.
The show started in the fall of 2011 on FX and its popularity has only increased. So far, there are four seasons: Murder House, Asylum, Coven, and Freak Show, and each season contains a different story.
However, even with different characters, the cast is mostly the same. This show is a great challenge for actors and actresses because for each season, they need to play a totally different character. For example, an actor might play a villain in season one, but in season two, he/she might be playing a hero. The title might be a little misleading because it is not as scary as it seems to be, and there are no sudden jump shots or anything likewise. It is just graphic. I mean... If I can watch it, everyone can.
American Horror Story is my favorite American TV show of all time. I like this show mostly because this is exciting, but also, the show is not afraid to talk about things that make people uncomfortable, which is also exciting.
I recommend this show to everyone. However, I do suggest you start out watching with a friend, and then slowly watching it along. This might make yourself feel better and less scared.

New Year's Resolutions
"New Year's resolutions" have been a trend for many years, and they have become more popular on the media to everyone, I have developed
some of my own New Year's resolutions this year. Here are the three resolutions
that I have to keep up with in the year 2015: Eating healthy, complaining less,
and reading more. These might be simple things for many people, but for me, they
are a little difficult.
First of all, I want to eat healthier. That means I need to cut
some of those pizzas from my daily meals and replace them with salads instead. I
will try to eat an apple every morning to give me the morning energy that I need.
I never believe in not eating. I believe if you don't eat, it will make your
body lack the nutrients it needs. I might still eat the same amount, but I
will switch the pizza for a bow of soup or salad to balance my meal. I
will try my hardest and make it into a habit while I still can.
Second, I want to complain less. I have found that complaining spreads
negativity to the people around me, and also, leaves myself feeling worst. I
want to be more optimistic and look at things in a more positive view.
Last but not least, I want to read more. I love to read; however,
I can never find the time to read. I read in planes or in doctor's
waiting rooms, but that’s all. I want to read more to improve my reading and focus skills. This will help me when I’m reading epics or reading
sections of the SAT or the ACT.
I will use all my strength to keep up with these resolutions and
make all of these into habits.

Why We Love Drawing (And You Should, Too!)
Drawing is some thing most of us learned to do since primary school. It is a way to help people express their emotions, to put away stress, and to enhance creativity.
Initially, many people have trouble expressing their emotions, some use drawing to help them. If they were feeling happy, they could use bright and warm color. If they were sad, they could use dark and cold colors. This helps some people to express themselves better.
Secondly, drawing has the ability to take away people's stress. When people are focus on their drawing and the details, they won't be able to think about all the other things. This way stress will not take over people's body.
Lastly, drawing will enhance people's creativity. Like everything else, you practice hard enough you can get better. People need to think of something draw, just by doing that, is creativity.
However, you don't have to draw for these reasons. You can write, play music, read, act, run, and all kinds of other things! Do something that makes you feel happy.
However drawing is the top of my list. :)

Sophomore Year
Being a sophomore has been a challenge for me. I'm slowly sinking in the fact that I am no longer
a naive freshman. I have noticed that the first thing I do after school is finishing homework and the
hour of my sleep have been shorter. When I was a freshman, I did my homework to get it over with,
but now I do it with effort. In my room, my roommate and I lack of time for ourselves, and the past
two weeks were stressful for us. However, a little stress won't hurt. This year is different and will be
different. I have already made new friends and started talking to new people. I habe been going to
play volleyball with Tami almost every single day. There isn't time for myself and I'm OK with that.
When there are things to do, I feel like I'm really living. Summer was fun, but now it is time to
work. My goal this year is to study hard, work hard, have fun, and enjoy my short sophomore year.
This year I will be more energetic and happier!
To be honest, I am not really excited for my junior year.

Take a Seat - Make a Friend?
Take a Seat - Make a Friend?
While I was surfing on the internet, I came across with a video called Take a Seat - Make a Friend?. It was about a ball pool set up in
the middle of a road and has a sign that said Take a Seat - Make a
Friend? . Strangers went
inside and became friends. That does seem kind of scripted, but the idea of
this video is fascinating. They were just strangers. However when they were in
the ball pool away from their own world and just talked, they found something
in common. People who got something in common really build a connection between
each other.
Taking the idea seriously and reforming it, we could make
friends more easily. Maybe we can take the idea to schools (of course, the ball
pool is an option). On the first day of school, people tend to be really shy.
It's hard to make friends when you are too shy to talk. Maybe in class, teacher
can create activities that are similar to that video. New students will slowly
feel comfortable and show their true self. Of course, you can't make friends
with everyone else. There are people who are just not meant to be your friends.
It is interesting to watch how people can connect so easily if
they leave the real world behind. If it weren’t for this video, maybe they
would just walk by each other. Maybe they will ignore each other or judge them
by their appearance. In this society, especially in the city, people don't
connect, not with their neighbor, and not with anyone! I know many people have
500 friends on Facebook, but in real life, do people really know these people
well? Like this video, we need to do more face-to-face conversations.
This video warms my heart; I hope it warms yours too.
