"New Year's resolutions" have been a trend for many years, and they have become more popular on the media to everyone, I have developed
some of my own New Year's resolutions this year. Here are the three resolutions
that I have to keep up with in the year 2015: Eating healthy, complaining less,
and reading more. These might be simple things for many people, but for me, they
are a little difficult.
First of all, I want to eat healthier. That means I need to cut
some of those pizzas from my daily meals and replace them with salads instead. I
will try to eat an apple every morning to give me the morning energy that I need.
I never believe in not eating. I believe if you don't eat, it will make your
body lack the nutrients it needs. I might still eat the same amount, but I
will switch the pizza for a bow of soup or salad to balance my meal. I
will try my hardest and make it into a habit while I still can.
Second, I want to complain less. I have found that complaining spreads
negativity to the people around me, and also, leaves myself feeling worst. I
want to be more optimistic and look at things in a more positive view.
Last but not least, I want to read more. I love to read; however,
I can never find the time to read. I read in planes or in doctor's
waiting rooms, but that’s all. I want to read more to improve my reading and focus skills. This will help me when I’m reading epics or reading
sections of the SAT or the ACT.
I will use all my strength to keep up with these resolutions and
make all of these into habits.
I want to read more, too! It is hard to find time when school is in session.
